The  British Thai Boxing Council (B.T.B.C.) is one of oldest organisation for Muay Thai (Thai Boxing)  in the world .
The organisation was founded in  Manchester in 1979 and has set the standard for quality and excellence over four decades.

British Thai boxing council Offers:

SUPPORT & TRAINING FOR NEW INSTRUCTORS
Support and training for new instructors in Muay Thai skills, Coaching skills, running and promoting a club, preparing fighters for competition, information on Muay Thai rules, history and traditions.

INSURANCE
Personal and Third Party Accident, Professional Indemnity, Public Liability plus advice – essential in these days where people are more ‘Claims Aware’.

SEMINAR PROGRAMME
Regular seminars with World-renowned instructors of Muay Thai, Muay Kaacheurk/Muay Boran, Krabi Krabong, Judging and Refereeing.

COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES
Regular national and international events for all classes of competitor from Junior to ‘A’ class professional and amateur.

ESTABLISHED GRADING STRUCTURE
From complete beginner through to Gold standard senior/advanced instructor qualification – the “Blue Chip” standard for Muay Thai, Muay Boran and Krabi Krabong.

TRAINING IN THAILAND
Organised travel and training opportunities with some of Thailand’s top instructors and specialists in the martial arts of Thailand.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND ADVICE
From our highly experienced administrative staff who have over 30 years clerical and management experience in the field of sports and leisure.
