What Muay Thai legend “Samart” says about Sitsiam Camp.
It is always nice to receive e-mails from people with comments about our Muay Thai school (Camp)
But receiving an e-mail from one of Thailand’s greatest boxers of all time is especially gratifying.
The legendary Samart Payakaroon recently sent an e-mail to me.
I’m very glad to hear from you again, it as been a long time since we last met.
Congratulation on your camp in Manchester, it looks like the greatest Muay Thai Camp ever, I wish I could be the owner of it.
I am very proud of you.
Take Care ?

The Sitsiam Camp was founded in 1983. The original school was situated in East Manchester.
In 1992 the camp became representatives for Buddhai Swan Institute Thailand.
1994 the school re-located to Ashton-under-Lyne Tameside, Manchester in the heart of a quaintly beautiful, bustling market town of Ashton famed for it’s many ancient churches.
The camp is authentically Thai and was opened in the traditional manner by a Thai Buddist Monk who came to bless the school and it’s members.
In 2003 the school moved again down to the third floor of the building and a completely new purpose-built unit dedicated to teaching the martial arts of Thailand. The school and it’s teacher Kru Tony Moore has enjoyed many successes with a triple Muay Thai British Champion at Lightweight, two double Muay Thai British Champions, a British Muay Thai and European Kick Boxing Champion, two British Amateur Muay Thai Champions, silver and bronze medallists at the Amateur World Championships in 1996 and 1997 in Thailand and a European Amateur Muay Thai Silver Medallist also in 1997. Added to this are the countless North West Area and Junior title holders and of course Kru Tony Moore champion of champions title.
